youth Development enrichment program located in Chicago, Il. We offer career readiness/enrichment programming to children of all ages through the incorporation of DJ performing arts and music technology software activities as it relates to the Science Behind Sound.
Master Mix Academy was founded in 2010 by Executive Director Dave Maze. The program was developed due to the lack of music programs that focused on Music production, DJ performing arts and remixing in Chicago. Over the past 6 years, Master Mix Academy has provided DJ performing arts and music enrichment programming to over 500 students throughout the Chicagoland area.

Master Mix Academy offers a Vocational DJ and Music production entrepreneurship program for persons with disabilities. The program works closely with University of Illinois at Chicago and Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education Assistive Technology Department. Students learn the basic fundamentals of DJ performing arts and studio production. Also, Master Mix Academy provide students with the tools and resources needed to start their own event DJ Entrepreneurship business. The objective this program is to increase students maximum level of independent functioning by improving their work readiness skills while obtaining career experience towards being an Entrepreneur in the music industry.
